During my years of llama packing, I have tried numerous pack systems. There were many times I was frustrated with cinches and straps and packs slipping and sliding. But, when I started using Flaming Star Packs systems, I had no more troubles. A great deal of thought went into the manufacturing of these packs. They are well made and rugged. I have some that I have used for the past 12 years and they look almost like new. My llamas and I are extremely happy with the Flaming Star Deluxe. A Semi Rigid Saddle, the " Power Cinch," a unique cinching system, allows for easy tightening of the girth. Easy user friendly clips. :- )	The Deluxe-Llama Pack, a great system for top loading. Horizontal and vertical compression straps, two zippered and two open pockets. Master, Utility, and Standard Llama packs are available too.

Great care is taken in construction of our Llama packs. They are made of
high quality Cordura & pack cloth with heavy-duty double stitching. All
components are selected for durability, strength, and weather resistance.
Complete Llama pack systems include panniers, a saddle, top loading
straps, a girth strap, a chest plate, and a set of cinches.

We are happy to report that the two pack systems we represent are listed in Gwen Ingram's book, "Evaluating a Llama Pack for Comfort and Function". "To this day, the Flaming Star and the Sopris Pack Systems are the ONLY packs that meet the basic criteria necessary for llama comfort. In addition, both manufacturers have continued to strive for improvements in design details that have led to improvements in safety and convenience."

MASTER PACK: This is the most versatile pannier available, with two large top pockets, four side pockets, and a roomy main compartment. The Master Pack top pockets can be used for a training pack or a day use pack.
DELUXE PACK: Same compartment size, design, horizontal and vertical compression straps as the Master Pack,. It includes two roomy zippered pockets and two open pockets.
STANDARD PACK: This is the economical pack. No zippered pockets. The same high quality construction and materials as the other products.
UTILITY PACK: Carry a cooler, wood, and anything else you need. This pack comes with compression straps, one open side pocket and main compartment.
SLING PACK SYSTEM: This pack has no sides (same saddle as above) and you can load it with your backpack, tools, etc. $239.
The TRAIL BOSS: This system is strictly for day hikes and to carry lunches. It has a different saddle (two cinches) and smaller panniers. It is built with the same high quality construction and materials as the other products.
